We love eating on the porch when the temperatures allow, and the less stuff I have to carry outside the better. This meal is perfect for outdoor food.

Being raised on a beef farm, grilled burgers were a staple in our house. When I got married, my husband and I started doing some experiments when we made hamburgers. This recipe has become our favorite. If you have a smoker, throw them on the smoker until they reach 155 degrees, and then finish them out on the grill. Takes your burger to the next level.

Hamburgers
2 lbs Farm Fresh Burger
1/4 C Mozzarella cheese
6 Slices of bacon cut up
1/2 T Salt
1/2 T Pepper
1/2 T Garlic Salt
Mix all ingredients and form patties. Great flavor enhancer: Allow your burgers to sit in the refrigerator for a couple hours before grilling.
Serving suggestion: Serve with fruit salad, chips, Avocado Shrimp Ceviche and an ice cream sandwich for dessert.
