WELCOME TO HOMEGROWN JOURNAL

Homegrown Journal is inspiration to keep growing, written by real people who have been there.

It began as a local (southwest Missouri) project. However, it never really was completely local because people from around the world read it. Plus, I couldn’t help but include stories from friends serving here and there. This past summer, I decided to expand my focus and invite people living anywhere to write their story, with hopes of providing encouragement in shared experiences. Afterall, shared experiences have a way of adding a bit of jazz to our steps.

Homegrown Journal is made up of five main headings: Fostering/Adoption, Ordinary People; Extraordinary God, Lead Outta Love, Storytellers, and The Great Outdoors.
